Who we are

Tjoef Tjom (“we”, “us”) operates tjoef-tjom.com, a South African quit-smoking and quit-vaping support site with free tools and an optional paid program. You can reach us at info@tjoef-tjom.com.

What we collect

• Streak counter and calculator inputs (quit date, name you type, tjoefs per day, pack price) are processed in your browser only. They are not stored on our servers and are not transmitted anywhere except as URL parameters when you choose to share your streak link.
• Waitlist and program signups: if you fill in the join form, we receive your name, email, optional WhatsApp number, your goal and (optionally) your biggest struggle, so we can contact you about Tjoef Vry 30.
• Anonymous usage analytics: we use Vercel Analytics to count page views without personalising or tracking you across the web.

How we use your information

Only to send you what you asked for: program updates, your invite, and quit-support emails if you subscribed. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing. Form submissions are delivered to us by our email provider (Maileroo), which processes them only to deliver the message.

Your POPIA rights

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask us at any time to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. One email to info@tjoef-tjom.com and we'll sort it out. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe option.

Cookies

The site runs without advertising cookies. We only use what's technically needed for the site to work.

Health information

Please don't send us medical details we don't need. The tools never ask for your identity number, medical aid details or health records, and the streak counter never sends your inputs to us.
